Watch : Anthony Joshua Goes Ice-driving In 4 SUVs To Celebrate 50th Anniversary Of Range Rover

Heavyweight Boxing Champion Anthony Joshua goes ice-driving in four different high-spec SUVs to celebrate Range Rover 50th anniversary.

Come June 2020, Land Rover will mark 50th anniversary of the original two-door Range Rover that was launched in 1970.

The iconic car was the first SUV to have some of today’s safety technologies. These includes the anti-lock brakes, electronic traction control, and automatic electronic air suspension.

As part of the celebration, Anthony Joshua was able to get behind the wheels of 4 Range Rover models at Land Rover’s extreme cold weather test facility in Arjeplog in Sweden.

Anthony Joshua was able to experience sideways and ice-driving inside the Range Rover Sport SVR; Velar SVAutobiography; SVAutobiography Dynamic and SVAutobiography SUVs.

Just last week, the heavyweight champion took delivery of his bespoke long wheel-base Range Rover SVAutobiography SUV.

The SUV will chauffeur Joshua to the venue of his next fight against Bulgarian challenger Kubrat Pulev at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on June 20.

Commenting on his new bespoke SUV, Anthony Joshua said :

“I’m really looking forward to June because the Range Rover family will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of Britain’s finest exports and I’ll be defending my world title belts,”

“I’ll be traveling to my fight with Kubrat Pulev in London on 20 June in my new personalized Range Rover SVAutobiography and I can’t think of a better way to arrive.

Nothing can match its combination of comfort and capability – I guess that’s what you get after five decades of experience.”
