At least six people killed in a Lagos fire incident that also consumed A police car on patrol.
Fire incident occurred on Adeola Odeku Street in Victoria Island area of Lagos on Tuesday morning.
The Lagos State Police Command in a statement said its officers escaped with injuries.

No fewer than six persons were reportedly killed on Tuesday (this morning) in a fire incident that occurred on Adeola Odeku Street in Victoria Island area of Lagos State.
According to eyewitnesses, the Fire, which started from a structure housing a generator, spilled onto the road where it consumed a parked police (RRS) car on patrol.

While praying for the repose of the souls of those whose lives were lost in the incident, the Lagos State Police Command in a statement said its officers escaped with injuries.


“RRS vehicle on patrol of Adeola Odeku was this morning involved in a fire incident. Although lives were lost in the incident but our officers escaped with injuries.
While we pray for the repose of the souls of those whose lives were lost in the incident, we appreciate those who have been calling and sending messages to our Commander, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi.”
