“Automated Valet Parking” : Watch Aito M9 smart SUV self-parking itself like a pro with no one inside the vehicle.
AITO M9 is a luxury smart SUV dubbed the Chinese Mercedes-Maybach owing to their semblances.
M9 is equipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS intelligent cockpit and the Huawei Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) 3.0.
The AI-powered ADAS 3.0 consists of a Lidar, three wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and several cameras.
This system enhances driving, allowing the Chinese-built smart SUV to park in tight spaces without the driver behind the wheel.
There are dozens of videos on social media showcasing the advanced Automatic Valet Parking skills of AITO M9, a luxury smart SUV dubbed the Chinese Mercedes-Maybach GLS owing to their semblances.
In several videos seen by Autojosh, Chinese drivers, upon activating the Automatic Valet Parking feature, can be seen getting out of their M9s to allow the SUV to independently park itself in a parking garage.

Aito M9 was launched on 26 December 2023 at Huawei’s winter conference in China. The brand’s flagship SUV is manufactured by Seres in collaboration with Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA).
M9 is equipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS intelligent cockpit and the Huawei ADS 3.0. This AI-powered Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) consistd of a Lidar, three wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and several cameras.
Similar to Mercedes-Benz’s Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC, this “Automated Valet Parking” system enhances driving, allowing the Chinese-built luxury smart SUV to park in tight or challenging spaces without the driver behind the wheel.
In July 2024, Aito M9 become the highest-scoring model in the history of C-NCAP (Chinese car safety assessment program) after being awarded “super” five-star safety certification with a score of 93.9%.
