BAIC BJ80, China’s Innoson G80 SUV, spotted in Dubai with number plate reportedly worth $900,000.
The mid-size military-based BJ80 SUV is an imitation of the popular Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV.
The BAIC BJ80 SUV is manufactured by BAIC Motor, starting in November 2016 under Beijing Auto Works.
BJ80 starts from ₦14.9m to ₦15.4m, excluding local tax and destination in Nigeria.
IVM announced the development of the IVM G80 SUV for the African market on December 11, 2017.
As of 2020, the Innoson G80 Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) retails for ₦27,825,000.

Chinese made BAIC BJ80 Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) has been spotted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, wearing number plate ’51’, reportedly worth nearly one million dollars ($900k).
The BJ80, reportedly an imitation of the popular Mercedes-Benz G-Class, is a mid-size four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured by BAIC Motor, starting in November 2016 under Beijing Auto Works (BAW).

According to the wiki page of BAIC BJ80 SUV, the Innoson IVM G80 is a variant of the BJ80. Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) announced the development of the military-based IVM G80 SUV for the African market on December 11, 2017.
Other variants includes the diesel powered BJ80D and the BJ80J military version. It also has a Czech-made version, the SVOS 80, as well as an Armored vehicle version, with steel and kevlar plating.


The BJ80 starts from 288,000 yuan to 298,000 Yuan, which is equivalent to about ₦14,900,000 to ₦15,400,000 in Naira, excluding the cost of shipping and clearing in Nigeria. As of 2020, the Innoson IVM G80 retails for ₦27,825,000.
According to the indigenous car maker, INNOSON, 70% of all its car parts are produced in Nigeria, while the rest is sourced from Japan, China, and Germany.
