Bentley Announces Best-ever 9-months, Bentayga Remains Bestseller
Bentley announces record financial results for first 9-months of 2022, Bentayga SUV remains brands best-selling model.
British luxury marque announces a record operating profit of €575 million for the first nine months of 2022.
Its year-to-date sales increase by 3% to 11,316 cars, while revenue increased to €2.490b this year (+28%), from €1.949b in 2021.
Bentayga took 41% share of sales. Flying Spur recorded 27% while Continental GT and GTC together accounted for 32% of sales.
British luxury marque Bentley Motors has announced a record operating profit of €575 million for the first nine months of 2022, which is an increase of 109 per cent compared to the same nine-month period last year.
Bentley notes that the demand for new model derivatives and the personalisation options helps its year-to-date sales increase by 3 per cent to 11,316 luxury cars, while revenue increased to €2.490 billion this year (+28 per cent growth rate), from €1.949 billion in 2021.
The Bentayga SUV remains Bentley’s best-selling model line with a 41 per cent share of sales. The Flying Spur luxury sedan recorded 27 per cent while the Continental GT and GTC ultimate grand tourers together accounted for 32 per cent of sales.
Americas remains the strongest sales region for Bentley, with a 7 per cent increase to 3,154 cars in the first nine months of 2022. Its sales were up 18 per cent in Europe, with sales in UK, the home market rising by 25 per cent to 1,126 vehicles. The Asia Pacific region also saw double digit growth of 17 per cent.
Bentley is expecting a strong end to the year, thanks to the introduction of the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB) model. The new luxury flagship SUV has so far accounted for approximately 40 per cent of Bentayga orders since launch.
