Bentley Continental GT Wins ‘Best Cars’ Title At German Awards Ceremony

Class-leading grand tourer Bentley Continental GT Speed wins German magazine, Auto Motor und Sports ‘Best Cars’ award.
Continental GT, chosen in the luxury class import category, impressed magazine’s readers due to its unique breadth of touring ability.
Last year, Bentley delivered a record 15,174 cars, with the Continental GT accounting for nearly 30 per cent third of sales.
For the second year in a row, the class-leading Bentley Continental GT has been awarded the ‘Best Cars’ award in a poll organised by prestigious German magazine, Auto Motor und Sport.
At the 47th edition of the magazine awards, the Bentley Continental GT, chosen in the luxury class import category, impressed Auto Motor und Sport readers due to its unique breadth of touring ability.
More than 101,000 readers of the highly-influential German magazine voted for their best models from a total of 422 cars, across 12 categories.
Receiving the award at a ceremony in Stuttgart, Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, commented:
“We are honoured to receive this award from the readers of Auto Motor und Sport magazine, one of the world’s most respected authorities on cars.
“Over the past 20 years, we have constantly developed the Continental GT and even today, in its third generation, it still defines the segment it first created.
“To win this award in the luxury class for the second consecutive year makes us extremely proud. Thank you to all those who voted.”
Bentley Motors recently announced a new record year with a total sales of 15,174 cars in 2022 (+4%), with the Continental GT and GT Convertible accounting for nearly 30 per cent third of sales.
The latest Continental GT features a handcrafted cabin that seamlessly integrates natural materials with advanced, driver-focused features, plus a choice of powerful yet refined V8 and W12 engines.
