BMW teases upcoming facelifted 2027 BMW 7-Series Ultra-luxury sedan ahead of reveal at Beijing Auto Show. 

The facelifted 2027 BMW 7 Series will retain the large illuminated kidney grille and the split headlights.

According to BMW CEO Oliver Zipse, the upcoming 2027 BMW 7 Series is an “almost completely new vehicle”.

BMW has shared a teaser image of the upcoming 2027 BMW 7-Series (G70), hinting at a facelift for the 7th-generation of the brand’s flagship luxury sedan that made its debut back in 2022 as a 2023 model.

As seen in the photo posted on the brand’s official Instagram account, the facelifted 2027 BMW 7 Series will retain the large illuminated kidney grille and the split headlights.

“Dedication reveals the path ahead. ​A tribute to the pursuit.​ The new BMW 7.​Coming soon,” BMW said in its caption.

While the refreshed 2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class that debuted in January has more than 50% of its parts new, BMW CEO Oliver Zipse said that the upcoming 2027 7 Series is an “almost completely new vehicle”.

The German marque is expected to elevate the 7-generation model with a new design inside and out, alongside a range of powertrains – which we will get to know when it breaks cover next month at the Beijing Auto Show.

BMW’s latest flagship sedan G70 is currently available with petrol (740i/760i xDrive), plug-in hybrid (750e xDrive & M760e xDrive) and fully electric (i7 xDrive60 & i7 M70) powertrains.

Two of the most impressive features inside are the massive Sky Lounge Panoramic Glass Roof and a 31-inch screen with 8K display, dubbed the “BMW Theater Screen,” which descends from the roof for rear-seat passengers.
