Bugatti will officially handover the Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ to owner at the Monterey Car Week 2023.

Bugatti has unveiled Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’, a bespoke one-of-a-kind model commissioned by an unnamed Bugatti collector with a deep appreciation for the automaker’s history and for the intricate engineering of the W16 engine.
Created by the Sur Mesure department and finished in bespoke shade of gold ‘Dore’, the overall project for the Golden Era car took two years to complete, including 400 hours dedicated to the artwork on either side of the car, hand-written ‘One-of-One’ motifs plus ‘Golden Era’ stitches underside of the rear wing.

The “‘Golden Era’ is probably the most demanding piece of tailored personalization work that my team and I have ever worked on”, according to Achim Anscheidt, former Bugatti Design Director in charge of this one-of-a-kind creation.
Achim Anscheidt, who recently departed Bugatti, explains the ideation’s starting point:
“A very important customer came to us and during our conversations, he expressed that he believed the Chiron Super Sport and its W16 engine represented a landmark moment in the world of the automobile. He wanted to do something truly unique in celebration.”

“Our customers can be incredibly creative and we take great pride in helping them realize what they dream of, but extensive special commissions such as this are exceedingly rare – we usually see no more than one or two creations on this scale each year.”
Twenty-six (26) artworks depicting Bugattis from the past, including Type 41 Royale from 1926 and the Type 57 SC Atlantic from the 1930s, were hand sketched on the passenger side of the car.

The driver’s side of the car has 19 sketches depicting the EB110, the Veyron, and the Chiron – with all three portraying the “rebirth and enduring success of Bugatti since 1987.”
French hypercar maker will officially handover the one-of-a-kind Bugatti Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ to its unnamed owner at the upcoming Monterey Car Week 2023, schedule from Friday Aug 11th and Aug 20th.
