Bugatti’s World’s Most Expensive Car “La Voiture Noire” Makes Dubai Debut

Bugatti’s World’s most expensive car “La Voiture Noire” is currently touring the world as it recently made its Dubai debut.

Bugatti President, Stephan Winkelmann, was on hand to present the “La Voiture Noire” – which translates to ‘The Black Car’ – to exclusive customers from the oil rich Islamic country ,during the French automaker’s 110th anniversary celebration .

The one-off La Voiture Noire is currently the most expensive new car ever released with a price tag of around $12.46 million – that’s about ₦6.7 b in Naira .

It is expected to be powered by Bugatti’s infamous quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine that produces 1480 horsepower and 1180 lb-ft of torque. But right now, the Hypercar is still in the concept form, with power coming from an electric power-train.

Bugatti says the Hypercar on display at the Geneva motor show was just a rolling display shell that will be turned into a street-legal Hypercar in 24 to 30 months times.

This means that the wealthy owner still have to wait for another 2 to 2¹/2 years before taken delivery of one of the most amazing machines on the planet.
