Car Rental Company Sixt Purchases 250,000 Cars From Stellantis
Stellantis will soon supply a series of models from various brands to Sixt. This includes passenger cars (from small to large), but also vans. This concerns cars with combustion engines, fully electric cars, and hybrids. Stellantis will deliver the vehicles over the next three years, which are intended for the European and North American rental markets. The first deliveries will take place at the end of March, Sixt says.
Sixt is the largest car rental company in Europe. “This is a great opportunity to introduce many people to our products,” emphasizes Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares. It is not known what proportion of vehicles are fully or partly electric. In any case, Sixt aims to have 70 to 90 percent of its European rental car fleet electrified by 2030.
