Porsche Teases Upcoming Macan EV Ahead Of January 25th Reveal
The upcoming all-electric Porsche Macan SUV has completed its global testing, ahead of January 25th reveal.
Every version of the Macan EV will have a 100-kWh battery pack that allows a range of more than 310 miles (500 km).
A DC fast-charge station will be able to refill its battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 22 minutes.
Porsche stated that the “development goal for the Macan EV is to be the sportiest model in the segment”.
Macan model, first unveiled in 2014, is Porsche’s answer to the increasingly popular crossover segment of vehicles.

Ahead of January 25th 2024 reveal, the upcoming all-electric Porsche Macan SUV has rounded off its global testings, which included the completion of 3 million test kilometers worldwide in varying conditions.
“It’s almost time for the covers to come off the new Porsche Macan, which will be seen for the first time without camouflage on 25 January,” Porsche said in its latest and final teaser ahead of reveal.

The new Macan EV model is planned to hit the market in 2024, according to Porsche, which stated that the “development goal for the Macan EV is to be the sportiest model in the segment”.


Range-topping model : 600-horsepower and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque
Battery-pack : 100 kWh lithium-ion battery
Range : 300+ miles of range!
So far, we know that every version of the Macan EV will have a 100-kWh battery pack that allows a range of more than 310 miles (500 km) on the European WLTP per charge. A DC fast-charge station will refill its battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 22 minutes.


Macan model is Porsche’s answer to the increasingly popular crossover segment of vehicles. It took only 3 years for the Macan, initially released in 2014, to become the best-selling model in the Porsche lineup.
The current generation Macan is available as a Macan 4, Macan T, Macan S, and the range-topping Macan GTS — the latter, which continues to set the standard for performance in its class.
