CBN Governor Visits Innoson Stand At The 2nd Edition Of CBN RT 200 Non Oil Export Summit
CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele visits Innoson stand at the Ongoing 2nd Edition of CBN RT 200 Non Oil Export Summit.
Godwin Emefiele said a total of $4.987billion has been repatriated into the country by non-oil exporters in 2022.
Recall that indegenius automaker Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) is one of the major exporters in Nigeria.
The company recently exported units of vehicles worth over $4.7 million to the Government of Sierra Leone.
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele earlier this week visited Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing stand at the Ongoing 2nd Edition of CBN RT 200 Non Oil Export Summit currently holding at Eko Hotel.
Speaking on the summit theme: RT200 Non-Oil Export Programme: The Journey So Far, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the CBN Governor said a total of $4.987 billion has been repatriated into the country by non-oil exporters in 2022.

Recall that Nnewi-based indigenous automaker, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) is one of the major exporters in Nigeria. The company recently exported units of vehicles worth over $4.7M to the Government of Sierra Leone.
The order for Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) was made by Sierra Leone during a working visit to Innoson Vehicles led by Edward Soloku, Minister of Internal Affairs and Isaac Ken-Green, president of Sierra Leone Road Transport Corporation (SLRTC).
The export of Innoson vehicles outside the shores of Nigeria is coming two years after President Muhammadu Buhari signed the AfCFTA agreement that promises to boost trade and increase shared prosperity in Africa.
