China bans Tesla vehicles from Chinese military areas cos its cameras are spying for US.
The United States are reportedly stealing informations in a way China can’t see or control.
These restrictions on Tesla cars could be a form of retaliation from China.
The US government has also labeled Chinese companies, especially Huawei, as security threats.

Last year, first shipment of China-made Tesla Model 3 sedans, about 3,200 electric vehicles, arrived in Europe
China has banned the use of Tesla vehicles in its military complexes and housing compounds because of fears its sensitive data are being collected by the vehicle’s built-in cameras.
The order was reportedly relayed to residents of military housing this week. It advises Tesla owners to park their cars outside of military property.

This ban was triggered by concerns that Tesla was collecting sensitive data via the cars’ built-in cameras.
According to the reports, Tesla has been accused of stealing informations in a way the Chinese government can’t see or control.

Tesla vehicles features several small interior and exterior cameras, some of which help in parking, autopilot and self-driving functions.
The Model Y dashcam feature can record up to 10 minutes of video from the front and a one-hour looping buffer of footage.
Sentry Mode will record incidents around the car starting 10 minutes before they took place. Models like the Y and Model 3 also have a driver-facing interior camera.
These restrictions on Tesla cars could be a form of retaliation from Chinese government. The US government has also labeled Chinese companies, especially Huawei, as security threats.
