China proposes 8,000-Mile underwater high-Speed train line from China to the United States.
The project, called “China-Russia-Canada-America” line, would connect four countries.
If approved, it would deliver a trade, economic, and tourism boom for all the four countries and their neighbours.
China already has the world’s largest network of high-speed railways — boasting 37,900 kilometers (about 23,500 miles) high-speed railways (HSR) from a total length of 141,400 kilometers railways.
To further its dream of connecting the whole country, China approved the world’s first underwater bullet train in 2018. This project is well underway, and it covers a 77-kilometer (47.8-mile) stretch of newly-built railway, including a 16.2-kilometer underwater section.

But China still has another plan and this involves building a high-speed, 13,000-kilometer (8,078-mile) international bullet train that will cost $200 billion to complete. The project, called the “China-Russia-Canada-America” line, would connect four nations.
First proposed seven years ago, the project, if approved, would potentially deliver a trade, economic, and tourism boom for all the four countries and their neighbours.
