LASEMA – Drunk driver crashes a Lexus saloon car at Agungi along Lekki-Epe Expressway at the wee hours of Thursday.

The agency says 4 persons were removed from the car wreckage with various degrees of injuries. They were rushed to nearby hospital.

Images taken at the scene showed a totaled Lexus ES with a mangled front and rear end, and a smashed windshield.

A white Lexus ES compact executive car has been wrecked after crashing at Agungi along Lekki-Epe Expressway at the wee hours of Thursday (today), 3rd September, 2020,

According to Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), 4 persons (including an intoxicated driver) were removed from the car wreckage with various degrees of injuries. They were rushed to nearby hospital.

Rescue teams from the agency reported that the severely damaged car; with registration number FST-934FZ; was recovered off the road to a lay-by with the aid of the Agency’s light tow truck.

Images shared on LASEMA’s social media page showed a white totaled Lexus ES saloon car with a mangled front and rear end, and a smashed windshield.

Mechanical tools found in the damage car were handed over to a man who claimed to be a relative of the victims. His car was captured as evidence of reception of the tools.

Writing on its Facebook handle, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), added that :

“The mechanical tools found in the vehicle were handed over to a man who claimed to be a relative of the victims to avoid them being stolen. His car (pictured above) was captured as evidence of reception of the tools.”
