2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE and 2024 Mercedes-AMG EQE 4Matic+

Earlier this week, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the all-new 2023 EQE SUV, an electric variant of the E-class, along with 2024 Mercedes-AMG EQE 4Matic+ from its AMG performance car division.

Three non-AMG variants are available, and Mercedes estimates that the longest-range EQE SUV variant will travel 550 kilometres (342 miles) per charge.

The EQE’s 90.6-kWh battery takes 9.5 hours to charge from 10-100% on a 240-volt/32-amp wallbox and all non-AMG variants have a top speed of 130 mph.

Pricing has not yet been revealed, but the non-AMG EQE SUV range is expected to arrive at dealerships in 2023, while the 2024 Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV will likely arrive at the end of 2023.

2024 Cadillac Celestiq

The all-new 2024 Cadillac Celestiq finally debuted on Monday as Cadillac’s first ever fully electric production sedan and its most and expensive model to date.

The electric four-seater hatchback looks identical to the Concept except for the side mirrors.

Celestiq rides on GM’s Ultium Platform and has a 111 kWh battery-pack that has a range of 300 miles of range. It uses a 200 kW DC fast charger that can get to 78 miles of range in 10 minutes .

The 600-horsepower sedan uses a pair of electric motors that allows a 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. Cadillac Celestiq will start at around $300k while production will start in December of 2023.

Rolls-Royce Spectre

Rolls-Royce entered the world of electrification on Tuesday with the launch of its first-ever electric vehicle (EV), the Spectre – a two-door Ultra-Luxury Electric Super Coupe.

While its driving range is yet to be announced, Rolls-Royce estimates around 320-mile (520 km) range on fully charged battery-pack.

Rolls-Royce Spectre’s powertrain allows a zero-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and a limited top speed of 155 mph.

Starting somewhere between the $350k Cullinan SUV and $460k Phantom sedan, the Rolls-Royce Spectre is expected to reach dealerships worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2023.
