Every Officer Must First Surrender Himself Before Searching You In Your Car – Police
The Good Book says, “My people perish for lack of wisdom”.
Indeed, in Nigeria, there is an enormous lack of knowledge in so many part of our national life.
Perhaps, in a move to educate the public about some of their rights, especially when dealing with the police, the Nigeria Police, via its twitter page sent out this message:
“If an officer wants to search you in your house/car, he must first surrender himself for searching. This is the procedure. Ask politely”.
