Genesis attended this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025 in Davos, Switzerland with the GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV), specially designed for rescue operations in rugged terrains and challenging weather conditions.

Based on the GV60 Compact electric offering that starts at about $55k, the GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle comes with sports seats and a snow tracks instead of tyres for exceptional off-road performance.

In addition, it features medical supplies and emergency communication and warning systems that support mountain rescue operations in extreme conditions.

Genesis says the GV60 MIV Concept’s large carbon fiber fender flares not only ensures the safety of bystanders and occupants but also protects the vehicle from damage.

It also gets a custom heavy-duty roof rack for storage, while the rear hatch rack features modular attachment points for various equipment.

“Genesis prides itself on creating safe, well-designed luxury vehicles that are audacious, progressive and distinctly Korean,” said Genesis Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke. “The GV60 MIV Concept expands this vision of comfort and care.”

This marks the third consecutive year that the Korean brand has showcased a concept model at Davos. The GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle concept follows the Genesis X Concept in 2023 and the Genesis X Show Speedium Concept last year.
