Gospel Singer Yinka Ayefele Celebrates 25th Anniversary Of Surviving Car Accident (Photos)
Veteran gospel singer Yinka Ayefele celebrates the 25th anniversary of surviving a car accident.
Ayefele had on the 12th of December, 1997, had a car crash while driving his blue coloured Volkswagen Beetle.
Sharing photos of himself prior to the crash as well as his totaled VW, he said the incident was a turning point in his life.
The radio presenter began his music career following the accident. He is the owner of Fresh 105.9 FM located in Oyo state.


Veteran gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of surviving a car accident that damaged his spinal cord and made him reliant on a wheelchair.
The 52 year father of three had on the 12th of December, 1997, had a car crash while driving his blue coloured Volkswagen Beetle, popularly known as Ijapa.

Ayefele, who shared photos of himself prior to the crash as well as his totaled Volkswagen on his Instagram page, said that the unfortunate incident was a turning point in his life. He expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life.

He wrote :
“It’s exactly 25 years ago today… Just keep thanking God on my behalf… It Was on the 12th of December 1997. My Turning point…I shall forever be grateful to the owner of my destiny.”
The radio presenter, who began his music career following the accident is the owner of radio station called Fresh 105.9 FM located in Oyo state.
