Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Spotted In LASTMA Uniform (Photos)

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was spotted in a LASTMA uniform yesterday. The event was to mark the passing-out of 1,017 new LASTMA officials recruited by the state. They officers has graduated from the Induction Course 10 of the agency.
The event saw the Governor address the new recruits to shun corruption and be an example for all. In addition, he also told them that they should avoid anything that will tarnish the image of LASTMA in the state.
Sanwo-Olu reiterated his obligation towards strengthening the resourcefulness of LASTMA personnel. He noted that his administration had doubled welfare packages of LASTMA officials to motivate them for optimised performance.
He said: “The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority was established 20 years ago to tackle traffic congestion and ensure hitch-free flow of traffic on our roads. Since inception, so much has happened and Lagos has grown in leaps and bounds. Human and vehicular population has increased tremendously.
General Manager, LASTMA, Mr. Olajide Oduyoye, said Sanwo-Olu made history by becoming first sitting Governor to attend induction of new officers in the history of the agency.
The event took place at the LASTMA parade ground in Oshodi. Also, the deputy Governor was in attendance.
