Honda Starts Production Of 2023 Pilot SUV In Alabama
Honda announce the start of mass production of the all-new 2023 Honda Pilot lineups at Alabama Auto Plant (AAP).
All-new 4th-generation 2023 Honda Pilot SUV arrived last month as the brand’s largest and most powerful SUV ever.
Completely redesigned 2023 Pilot mid-sized 3-row SUV, the largest Honda SUV ever, is longer and wider than its Predecessor.
Available in five unique trim levels : Sport, EX-L, Touring, Elite and the new TrailSport, which is the most off-road capable Honda SUV ever.
Pilot TrailSport, engineered for off-roading adventurers, comes with all-terrain tyres, and off-road tuned suspension.
New Pilot is powered by Honda’s most powerful V6 ever, an all-new dual overhead cam (DOHC) 3.5-liter engine, producing 285-hp.
Associates at the Honda Alabama Auto Plant (AAP) has announced the start of mass production of the all-new 2023 Honda Pilot lineups, including the Pilot TrailSport, which is the most off-road capable Honda SUV ever.
The Honda Alabama Auto Plant (AAP) is the exclusive global production source for the Pilot and Pilot TrailSport, a site that has produced more than 2 million Pilots since 2006.
“The all-new Honda Pilot is an incredible product that required the determined efforts of each and every associate at the Alabama Auto Plant and I am proud of how our team overcame numerous challenges to create new value for our customers,” said Lamar Whitaker, Plant Lead, AAP.
The latest and completely redesigned all-new Pilot comes with rugged new styling, more passenger and cargo space, and a “class-leading combination of off-road capability and sporty on-road dynamics”.
The all-new fourth-generation Pilot mid-sized three-row SUV, the largest Honda SUV ever, is longer and wider than its Predecessor. It is available in five unique trim levels : Sport, EX-L, Touring, Elite and the new TrailSport, which is the most off-road capable Honda SUV ever.
The 2023 Honda Pilot TrailSport features a raised off-road tuned suspension, all-terrain tyres, steel skid plates and expanded all-wheel drive system capabilities.
It is powered by Honda’s most powerful V6 ever, an all-new dual overhead cam (DOHC) 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 285 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft of torque. The new engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
