Insecurity : Nigerian motorist obeying Traffic Lights in Abuja between midnight and 3 AM is likely a JJC – Shehu Sani.
The outspoken activist said this to turn the spotlight on insecurity across the country, especially in the northern part.
If you see a motorist in Abuja obeying the traffic lights from midnight to 3am,he is likely to be a diaspora back home.

Shehu Sani, a former senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, says any motorist obeying traffic lights in Abuja between 12 am midnight and 3 am is likely a Johnny Just Come (JJC).
The outspoken activist made this known on his X handle on December 30th to turn the spotlight on insecurity across the country, especially in the northern part of the country as well as in the Federal Capital Territory.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote :
“If you see a motorist in Abuja obeying the traffic lights from midnight to 3am, he is likely to be a diaspora back home”
Replying to Shehu Sanni tweet, a user said :
“Between 10pm and 6am I scarcely stop at traffic lights just look out for other cars and move. Security and safety go hand in glove.”
Another user said :
From 7pm to about 5:30am, it is risky to stop for traffic light because you could be robbed successfully. This is the trend in Abuja.”
A user advised :
“Is even risky obeying the traffic lights from midnight till cock crow here in FCT, non state actors have situated themselves to carry out their normal dealings… Just avoid late night driving….

The Nigeria Police Force Delta State Command recently shared some security tips with Nigerian motorists and other road users on how to stay safe amidst rising terrorism, militancy and kidnapping in the country.
In a tweet on the force’s official X account on Thursday, the Delta State Command said driving in convoy or cars with tinted glasses as well using Titles makes motorists a target.
