2025 Kia Tasman Arrives As The Brand’s First-ever Pickup Truck, Offered In 3 Trims - autojosh

Kia is considering design tweaks for the controversial Tasman following slow Australian sales, though executives confirmed that a full facelift is not imminent. Official updates are likely to focus on accessories or special editions in the near term.

Upon closer inspection, it appears that the immediate strategy to address market performance involves expanding the accessory catalogue with a specific focus on exterior enhancements. The Kia Tasman Weekender concept, unveiled at the 2025 Seoul Motor Show, serves as the most prominent preview of this direction, featuring a redesigned body kit that provides the midsize truck with a more rugged aesthetic.

The concept highlights several notable upgrades, including an enlarged front skid plate, a streamlined grille, and body-coloured fenders that partially frame the headlights. Furthermore, it incorporates a sophisticated roof rack system extending into the bed, a bespoke rear bumper, and a distinctive matte beige military-style finish accented with lime green detailing.

I have recently developed a conceptual “correction kit” for the Tasman, which includes redesigned fenders, additional body-colored trim, and auxiliary grille-mounted LEDs. Kia could adopt a similar approach by offering these features either as dealer-installed accessories or as part of a specialized edition designed to stimulate consumer interest.

Further information regarding these strategic measures is expected to be released shortly. In the interim, Tasman owners may personalize their vehicles using aftermarket components from manufacturers such as AR.
