Kia Is Having A Fantastic 2025 As First Quarter Sales Are Out
Kia continued its strong momentum into February and March 2025, achieving its best first quarter ever. The brand experienced a sales increase of 10.7 percent in the first three months of the year compared to 2024, selling 198,850 vehicles. March was particularly remarkable for Kia, with sales rising 13.1 percent year-over-year to reach 78,540 units.
The Kia K4 dropped from its top position in January to second place, behind the Sportage, which became the brand’s best-selling model in 2024. Sales of the Sportage increased by 10.9 percent in March and 10.8 percent for the quarter. Meanwhile, K4 sales rose by 10.1 percent in the first quarter.
In the first quarter of 2025, the Telluride ranked as Kia’s third-best-selling vehicle, with sales increasing by 16.6 percent. The Carnival also experienced significant growth, soaring by 52.7 percent during the same period. Additionally, sales of the Sorento rose by a healthy 12.9 percent. Notably, K5 sales surged dramatically, up by 133.2 percent, reaching a total of 15,747 units sold.
