Lamborghini Parades 251 Cars To Celebrate 60th Anniversary, Sets Guinness World Record - autojosh

Lamborghini parades 251 Cars in Japan as part of activities to mark its 60th anniversary, sets Guinness World Record.

Italian marque had on 23 Feb. hosted its 60th Anniversary Day at Suzuka Circuit, an event that saw the gathering of over 280 cars.

Event kicked off with a parade run of 251 cars – a record-breaking feat for the largest parade of Lamborghini cars driven at one time.





Italian sports car, Automobili Lamborghini, kicked off its 60th-anniversary celebrations last month with a bang after parading over 250 cars to set a new Guinness World Record for the “Largest parade of Lamborghini cars”.

Lamborghini had on 23 February hosted its 60th Anniversary Lamborghini Day at Suzuka Circuit, an event that saw the gathering of over 280 Lamborghinis, including both current and classic cars and limited-edition models.

The event kicked off with a parade run of 251 Lamborghinis – from the Miura to the Countach LPI 800-4 – around the track, which was a record-breaking feat for the largest parade of Lamborghini cars driven at one time.





Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, Automobili Lamborghini, said :

“This year marks the 60th anniversary since Lamborghini was founded in 1963. The fact that so many Lamborghinis, from current models to classic cars, gathered at the internationally renowned Suzuka Circuit is proof that our brand has touched the emotions of many people here in Japan over its long history and is still so valued today. It is also an immense pleasure to witness this special moment of receiving a Guinness World Record during an important year such as this.”
