An odd-looking Lamborghini Urus-wannabe SUV was recently spotted cruising on the Nigerian road with the Italian brand’s diamond-encrusted badge? sitting confidently on the bonnet.

While the Urus remains Lamborghini’s only SUV and best-selling model in the market today, the motorist who captured and shared the footage was forced to ask what ‘Lamborghini’ the obviously ‘modified SUV’ really was.

On a closer look, the odd-looking SUV is actually a Hilux-based Toyota Fortuner sold in markets like Nigeria and India, but with a poorly made Urus front fascia and a Lamborghini hood emblem, which sells from $15.00 up to $350.00 on eBay.

Autojosh guess that the Toyota Fortuner only received modifications to the front part, so it likely uses a 201-horsepower 2.8L Diesel Turbo 4 engine, allowing a 0-60 mph in around 10 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph.

In comparison, the Urus the modified Fortuner claimed to be uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, which allows the 650-horsepower Lamborghini SUV to reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph.
