Last week, luxury brand of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation, announced the pricing and model lines for its latest flagship SUV, the Lexus 2022 LX 600.
The new 2022 Lexus LX 600 flagship SUV is based on the new-generation Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series, and it replaces the still impressive LX 570 SUV, that’s has been around since 1995.
According to Lexus, the 2022 LX 600 will be available in five (5) trim levels, including the LX 600, LX 600 Premium, the F Sport, LX Luxury and the range-topping model, the LX 600 Ultra Luxury, all priced between $86,900 and $126,000.

While the five (5) trim levels have been revealed and prices announced, a rumour had earlier popped up, suggesting there will be an armoured protection version of the LX 600 SUV.
For now, Lexus has not announced any plan for an armoured protection version of the LX 600 SUV. But if Lexus decides to extend the model line with an armoured variant, then it will be very lucrative for the luxury brand as the outgoing Lexus LX 570 is a popular vehicle for bulletproof upgrades across the globe.
The armoured variant of the outgoing Lexus LX 570 is a favourite amongst top political figures across the globe. In Nigeria, nearly all top politicians boasts a bulletproof LX 570, thanks to its abilities to offer a rare combination of size, luxury and offroading features.

Nigerian State Governors that currently use this physically imposing luxury SUV as official vehicles includes those from Kaduna, Bauchi, Lagos, Borno and Imo states.
Others Govornors that also use the Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle includes Adamawa, Anambra, Benue, Oyo, Osun, Bayelsa and Kogi, just to mention but a few.
With the arrival of the 2022 Lexus LX 600 SUV and the announcement of its pricing, it’s only a matter of time before Nigerian politicians, most especially the Governors, start upgrading to the latest LX 600.
