Mercedes Benz X Class pickup unveiled (Photos and video)

Last week, we got a glimpse of the new Mercedes Benz X Class pickup. Now, the real deal is here. Mercedes Benz has collaborated with Renault-Nissan to develop the truck in an effort to save some cash on Research and Development. Therefore, the pickup is expected to share similar dimensions and design attributes with the current Nissan Navara. Despite that, the styling will lean towards that of current Mercedes Benz vehicles.
The pickup which was unveiled in Stockholm, Sweden has a pretty design. It has a surround taillight, permanent all wheel drive and the large 22-inch wheels are amazing.
The interior looks more like that of a luxury car than that of a pickup truck. The Mercedes Benz X Class pickup will also be packed with many tech features. The final production model of this concept is expected to go on sale in 2017.
Mercedes Benz Chairman Dieter Zetsche said, “With the X-Class, we will close one of the last gaps in our portfolio… Our target is to offer customers vehicles matching their specific needs. The pick-up will set new standards in a growing segment.”
I will update you about this interesting new pickup when I have more information.
Isn’t this ride lovely?
