Mint 27-Year-Old Toyota Land Cruiser SUV sells for $136,000 at a recently held auction.

At that price, you will get a new Mercedes-Benz G-Class aka G-Wagon SUV.

That’s even about $50,000 more than the price of a brand-new 2021 Land Cruiser 200 Series.

While the news of the new-generation Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is still making waves, someone snapped a 1994 model at a recently held online auction by Bring a Trailer for a hefty price of $136,000.

Yes, you heard that right. The unnamed buyer paid the money that will buy a new Mercedes-Benz G-Class for a used 27-year-old 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80. That’s even about $50,000 more than the price of a brand-new 2021 Land Cruiser 200 Series.

According to the listing, the original owner purchased the SUV brand new and locked it away for nearly 25 years in a garage before the second owner bought it in October 2020.

The nearly pristine 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser finished in metallic green has just about 1,000 original miles on the odometer. Inside, it boasts air conditioning, a factory-fitted CD and cassette player and a three-spoke steering wheel.

Powering it is a 4.5-liter inline-six engine that produces 212 horsepower (156 kilowatts) and 275 pound-feet (373 Newton-meters) of torque.

So, would you pay the money to buy a brand new Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV for a used 27 year old Toyota Land Cruiser SUV?
