Motorbike Racing Legend Jorge Lorenzo Receives His Lamborghini Urus S At The Factory

Motorbike racing legend Jorge Lorenzo receives his Lamborghini Urus S at the home of the celebrated Italian super sports car.

Lamborghini’s La Prima program allows customers to collect their new sport cars from the factory.

The 657-horsepower Urus S is the latest Lamborghini sports car to grace the five-time world champion’s garage.

Lamborghini Urus S replaces the original Urus but sits below the new high-performance Urus Performante.

Spanish motorbike racing legend, Jorge Lorenzo, has collected his brand new Lamborghini Urus S during his visit to the home of the celebrated Italian super sports car. Thanks to Lamborghini’s La Prima program, customers have the opportunity to collect their new sport cars from the factory.

The Majorcan-born five-time world champion and winner of 47 MotoGP races is fifth most successful rider of all time, having won back-to-back 250cc world titles before moving to MotoGP in 2008.

During his visit, Lorenzo, a Lamborghini enthusiast, was taken on a guided VIP tour through the production facilities as well as a tour of the production lines for both Urus and the company’s newly announced Revuelto super sports car.

Speaking on the Urus S, the latest Lamborghini to grace the racer’s garage, Lorenzo said :

“I wanted a true sports car but also something discreet, and I think the Urus S has everything… The engine is extremely powerful and the performance is incredible.

But the Urus also has comfort and safety. You have everything in one, right? It’s truly multi-functional… It’s beautiful, of course, like all Lamborghinis, but an even sweeter moment for me because this is my first Lamborghini Urus”, he added.

The new Lamborghini Urus S, an ultimate lifestyle Super SUV, replaces the original Urus that arrived in 2018 but sits below the new high-performance Urus Performante which made its debut late in 2022.

Compared to the original Urus, the Urus S is offered in broader choice of colors and finishes, including rims, style packages, and interior and exterior details, to emphasize its sporting and luxurious character.

Powering the Urus S is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, which produces 657 horsepower as the Performante, allowing the Urus S to hit 62 mph in 3.5 seconds and a claimed top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h).
