Curfew Violation: See How Motorists Spent The Night At A Road In Ikoyi
Last night, some motorists were made to spend the night at a road in Ikoyi for violating the Federal Government imposed a curfew.
Recall that the federal government declared a nationwide curfew of 8 pm to 6 am. This was part of new measures to contain the spread of the deadly COVID 19 pandemic ravaging the world.
An Instagram user who was part of those affected on the road shared a video of how they were forced to sleep outside at Osborne Road in Ikoyi area of the state.
The Instagram user via his account, “@Femiolasebikan” shared his experience on how he was stuck on the road last night. He posted:
“Make una help us beg Governor @jidesanwoolu oooo. We won’t do it again.. I want to go home. We’re all sleeping on the road tonight” He wrote on the social media platform.

President Muhammadu Buhari declared an overnight curfew from 8 p.m to 6 a.m across the country, as part of new measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19.
The curfew was part of a measured easing of lockdown in FCT, Lagos and Ogun States. It took effect from Saturday, 2 May 2020, at 9 am.
