New Director General Of National Automotive Design And Development Council (NADDC) Assumes Office

New National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) DG, Joseph Osanipin, assumes office.
He replaces automotive designer, Jelani Aliyu, who held the position of Director General of NADDC since 2017.
Until his appointment as the new DG NADDC, he was the Chief Operating Officer of JET Motor Company.
Mr Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, the newly appointed Director General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) has assumed office on Tuesday 17th October, 2023.
The new NADDC boss replaces automotive designer, Jelani Aliyu, who held the position of Director General since his appointment in 2017 by ex-Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari.
Addressing the Council’s Management Team, the DG, who applauded the achievements of NADDC, implored all to align with the people oriented agenda of the new administration to reposition the economy in the interest of the nation.
Osanipin urged all departments of the Council to synergize for adequate service delivery with utmost sense of responsibility, adding that the importance of automobiles in every day-life can not be over emphasized, thus the need for relentless efforts towards the development of the Nigeria Automotive Industry.
Joseph Osanipin was among the recently appointed CEO’s by President Bola Tinubu to direct the affairs of the agencies under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
Until his appointment as the new DG NADDC, Mr. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin was the Chief Operating Officer of indigenous Electric Vehicle Maker, JET Motor Company.
