Nigerian Artist Slawn Creates A Special Livery For Racing Bulls F1 Team’s Car

Nigerian artist Slawn creates a special livery for Racing Bulls F1 team’s VCARB 02 car for the British Grand Prix.

The team’s new-look VCARB 02 car, revealed at the Flannels X store in London, is adorned with Slawn’s caricature style street art.

Powering Racing Bulls Slawn-designed VCARB 02 car is an Honda RBPTH003 power unit.

It is the last Racing Bulls car to utilize Honda engines, as they will switch to Red Bull Powertrains Ford engines in 2026.

Earlier this month, Racing Bulls, in partnership with Nigerian-born artist Slawn and fashion brand HUGO, unveiled a special livery for the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) Formula One Team’s car for the British Grand Prix.

The team’s new-look VCARB 02 car was revealed at the Flannels X store in London ahead of British Grand Prix that took place at Silverstone Circuit between July 4-6 2025. It featured Slawn’s unmistakeable spray-painted style.

“Art meets speed and I brought the madness. Big love to HUGO and VCARB for trusting the vision”, the British-Nigerian designer and artist, born Olaolu Akeredolu-Ale, commented.

Most of Slawn works include spray paint, large-scale pop art canvases, graffiti, caricatures and murals. In 2023, the 24 year old became the youngest person to design the Britannia statuette for the annual BRIT awards.

Slawn-designed Racing Bulls VCARB 02 car

Officially known as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team, Racing Bulls or VCARB is an Italian Formula One racing team and constructor that has been competing since the 2024 season. It competes alongside its sister team, Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Its VCARB 02 car painted by Nigeria-born Slawn is powered by the Honda RBPTH003 power unit. It is the last Racing Bulls car to utilize Honda engines, as they will switch to Red Bull Powertrains Ford engines in 2026.
