Customs Tincan Island Port Command Hits Revenue Milestone, Makes N1 Trillion In 10 Months

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Tincan Island Port Command (TCIPC) says it has achieved a significant milestone in revenue generation after collecting over N1 trillion from January to October 2024.

“We are pleased to announce that as of today, 7 November 2024, the Command has generated N1,046,496,593,103.60. Customs Area Controller (CAC),” Comptroller Dera Nnadi said during a press briefing.





“This marks the first time in the history of the Command that over one trillion naira has been collected in Customs duties.”

PCNGI Partners With NIPCO To Bring “Mobile CNG Refueling Unit” To You Regardless Of Your Location

The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI) is partnering with the Nigerian Independent Petroleum Company (NIPCO) to deploy “mobile CNG refueling units” to supplement existing CNG refueling stations across the country.

“Regardless of your location, you can call to have a CNG refueling unit come to you, fill your tank so you can continue your journey. It’s mobility unparalleled,” PCNGi said while announcing the new initiative.

Aimed at promoting the “Switch to CNG” campaign, the new “on-demand” CNG delivery service brings the gas station to you whenever you need it whether you’re in the heart of the city or on the outskirts.

NADDC Explores Partnership With eMove (eMVC), A Leading 2- and 3-wheeled Electric Vehicle Maker

A delegation from Nigeria’s NADDC, led by Mr. Joseph Osanipin, recently visited eMove Vehicules Company (eMVC), a leading 2 and 3-wheel electric vehicle manufacturer (EV) based in Morocco.

NADDC’s visit was aimed at exploring potential collaborations that could enhance Nigeria’s electric vehicle (EV) landscape.





During the visit on October 31st 2024, the Managing Director of EMVC highlighted significant advancements, including the company’s capability to produce its own batteries, which positions it as a key player in the EV market.

Accredited by the Moroccan Ministry of Transport, eMove specializes in electric two- and three-wheeled vehicles. It has its headquart in Casablanca and production facility in Berrechid.
