NADDC Explores Partnership With eMove (eMVC), A Leading 2- and 3-wheeled Electric Vehicle Maker

NADDC delegation explores electric vehicle (EV) partnership with Morocco-based eMove Vehicules Company.
NADDC’s visit aimed at exploring potential collaborations that could enhance Nigeria’s electric vehicle (EV) landscape.
Accredited by the Moroccan Ministry of Transport, eMove is a leading manufacturer of 2 and 3-wheel electric vehicles.
eMove currently has 5 models of battery-electric Mopeds and tricycles, with a range from 30 km to more than 150 km.
A delegation from Nigeria’s National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), led by Mr. Joseph Osanipin, recently visited eMove Vehicules Company (eMVC), a leading 2 and 3-wheel electric vehicle manufacturer (EV) based in Morocco.
During the visit on October 31st 2024, the Managing Director of EMVC highlighted significant advancements, including the company’s capability to produce its own batteries, which positions it as a key player in the EV market.
NADDC’s visit was aimed at exploring potential collaborations that could enhance Nigeria’s electric vehicle (EV) landscape. According to a statement by NADDC, the discussions centered on two main areas of potential partnership:
“Charging Infrastructure Development : The NADDC team expressed interest in leveraging EMVC’s expertise to establish a comprehensive charging network for electric vehicles in Nigeria, aiming to support the growing demand for EVs.”
“Technology Transfer : Both parties discussed the possibility of exchanging knowledge and technology to accelerate the development of Nigeria’s EV industry, empowering local manufacturers and enhancing production capabilities.”
During the visit, NADDC delegation, accompanied by the Minister for regional development, H.E Uba Maigari Ahmadu, toured the EMVC factory, gaining firsthand insights into the manufacturing processes and technologies employed in producing electric vehicles.

eMove currently has 5 models of battery-electric Mopeds and tricycles, intended for different uses and with a range from 30 km (18.6 miles) to more than 150 km (93.2 miles).
