PCNGI Partners With NIPCO To Bring “Mobile CNG Refueling Unit” To You Regardless Of Your Location

Aimed at promoting the “Switch to CNG” campaign, the new “on-demand” CNG delivery service brings the gas station to you.
Tinubu recently commended NIPCO for reducing the nation’s reliance on petrol and making the CNG available to Nigerians.
The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI) is partnering with the Nigerian Independent Petroleum Company (NIPCO) to deploy “mobile CNG refueling units” to supplement existing CNG refueling stations across the country.
“Regardless of your location, you can call to have a CNG refueling unit come to you, fill your tank so you can continue your journey. It’s mobility unparalleled,” PCNGi said while announcing the new initiative.
Aimed at promoting the “Switch to CNG” campaign, the new “on-demand” CNG delivery service brings the gas station to you whenever you need it whether you’re in the heart of the city or on the outskirts.
It will be recalled that President Bola Tinubu recently commended the NIPCO for reducing the nation’s reliance on petrol and making the CNG available to Nigerians at just N200 per Standard Cubic Meter.
“Nigeria’s motorists can buy petrol at N1,000 per litre or equivalent gas per Standard Cubic Meter at N200. We have also introduced incentives for commercial motorists to convert from petrol to gas” free of cost,” President Tinubu said during a meeting with executives of the NIPCO at the State House in Abuja.
During the meeting, Tinubu commended NIPCO’s contributions to the nation’s energy transition efforts, particularly its support for the Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGI).
The President lauded NIPCO’s efforts in promoting the “Switch to CNG” campaign, which has been instrumental in boosting public awareness and providing affordable CNG conversion kits even before the official kickoff of the Presidential CNG Initiative.
