One-off Lamborghini Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ Wears Colors That Took 435 Hours To Hand Paint
It took 435 hours to hand paint this one-off Lamborghini Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’, which celebrates Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary.
The interior also gets an additional 220 hours worth of customisation, including multicoloured 60th anniversary logo embroidery.
Highly customized version of Lamborghini’s first V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV was created by Centro Stile.
Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled a one-of-a-kind Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’. Presented on Wednesday at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023, the one-off piece of art celebrates the brand’s 60th anniversary and its heritage of colors.
The highly customized version of the brand’s first V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) was created by Centro Stile, under the direction of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam team.
“As the company’s top market globally, it’s quite fitting that we bring this Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ to the U.S. and present it during Art Basel Miami Beach,” remarks Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
“Being the fastest, most technologically advanced and customizable Lamborghini in history, the Revuelto has seen a tremendously positive response from customers globally.
“The iconic V12 plays an integral part in Lamborghini’s history and with this ‘Opera Unica’ we have truly explored the possibilities of our Ad Personam personalization, thus creating an automotive masterpiece.”
The Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’s hand-painted exterior fades from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene, a process that took a total of 435 hours to execute. In addition, 60th anniversary logo is visible on the bonnet of the car.
Just like the exterior, the interior gets an additional 220 hours worth of customisation too, including a two-tone leather in Nero Ade and Viola Acutus as well as multicoloured 60th anniversary logo embroidery on the seat backrests, door inserts and the headliners.
“We wanted to create something purely artistic using brushes and a combination of colors, as if the Revuelto was a canvas. That is what fueled our inspiration for this special livery,” said Mitja Borkert, Automobili Lamborghini’s Design Director.
Like the $550,000 Lamborghini Revuelto it is based on, this stunning one-off piece of art uses the V12 plug-in hybrid powertrain, which churns out 1,001-horsepower output with 595 lb-ft of torque.
