Owners Of BMW 7 Series Can Now Watch Sports On The Massive 31.3-inch Rear Theater Screen
Owners of BMW 7 Series flagship sedan can now watch Sports on the massive 31.3-inch Rear Theater Screen.
Streaming on the BMW Theatre Screen is possible for rear-seat passengers while the vehicle is on the move.
Sports cannot be played on the Curved Dashboard Display of the new 7 Series while driving for safety reasons.
Offer won’t be limited to owners of BMW 7 Series sedan as it will be made available in the electric iX SUV X5, X6 and X7.
Back in January, German luxury brand BMW partnered with DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga to become the first car manufacturer to bring Bundesliga football into the Curved Dashboard Display of the new 7 Series with a pilot application.
BMW-DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga partnership allows customers of the new BMW 7 Series in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to enjoy selected content and live games on the Curved Dashboard Display when the car is parked.
Now, the next phase of the partnership will allow customers to also enjoy the Bundesliga In-Car App content on the 31.3-inch BMW Theatre Screen, which practically turns the rear seats in the BMW 7 Series into front-row seats in the stadium.
According to BMW, this offer will be rolled out to other countries in Europe, America and Asia with the pilot initially scheduled to run until 31.03.2024. BMW notes that the pilot will also rollout in Belgium, Brazil, France, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, USA.
While Bundesliga content cannot be played on the BMW Curved Display while driving for safety reasons, streaming on the BMW Theatre Screen is possible for rear-seat passengers while the vehicle is on the move.
But this offer won’t be limited to owners of new BMW 7 Series sedan as BMW claims that the Bundesliga content will be made available in the electric iX SUV from production 03/23 and X5, X6, X7 from April 2023.
