Check Out The Automatic Door Opening System In The New BMW 7 Series Flagship Sedan
Check out the automatic door opening System in the all-new 2023 BMW 7-Series and i7 Electric flagship sedan.
An automatic opening of front and rear doors is available for the first time on the BMW 7 Series flagship sedan.
It is activated by touching the buttons in the BMW Interaction Bar at the front of the cabin or the rear door trim.
The automatic opening and closing sequence can also be activated using the radio-operated key.
At a later stage, this will be possible via My BMW App from outside and by iDrive control/operation system while on board.

The all-new BMW 7-Series has started to roll off the production lines at Dingolfing plant in Germany ahead of the expected launch in major markets, including in Nigeria, later this year.
The flagship debuted with several comfort-enhancing interior features, including a first of a kind automatic door mechanism that allows passengers to open or close the front and rear doors at the touch of a screen.

Passengers on board only need to touch the buttons in the BMW Interaction Bar at the front of the cabin or the rear door trim to open or close the front and rear doors.
BMW said that the automatic opening and closing sequence, which alerts users with visible and audible signals, can also be activated using the radio-operated key.

At a later stage, this will be possible via the “My BMW App from outside the car and by voice command or using the iDrive control/operation system while on board”.
Other tech, while using this system, includes a helpful collision protection function when opening the doors and a sensitive obstruction alert when closing them.
