Concept shown in 2021 boasts suicide doors, three-seat layout, with two seats in the rear as well no steering wheel.

Chinese luxury carmaker, Hongqi, the premium car brand of FAW group, has announced that the production version of the Hongqi L-Concept model will soon hit the market.
“The high-tech #Hongqi L-Concept model is about to be launched in the market,” Hongqi said in a teaser video on its Facebook page.

First unveiled in April 2021 during Shanghai Auto Show, the futuristic 3-seat Hongqi L-Concept limousine previews the upcoming replacement for the L5, dubbed as the “Rolls-Royce of China”.
Production model of the futuristic full-size four-door sedan seen in a teaser video shared by Hongqi retains some of the designs seen in the version on display at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show.

The coupe-style sedan with a fastback roof and an exquisite two-tone exterior boasts a Rolls-Royce-type rear suicide doors. Inside, it has three-seat layout, with two seats in the rear and one seat for the driver as well no steering wheel.
When the L-Concept model enters the market (likely with a new name), it will join models from Hongqi that are designed to steal customers from brands like Rolls-Royce and Bentley, including the H9, E-HS9 and the L5.
