Privacy Suite Now Available For Customers Buying Extended-wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantom
Rolls-Royce debut Privacy Suite, a premium option available for customers ordering Extended-wheelbase Phantom VIII.
It is simply an electrochromatic glass that divides the front cabin and the rear cabin.
It also features noise cancelation techs that keeps the driver from hearing what’s going on in the back.
Other premium features includes two 12-inch monitors, an intercom system and a rear theater mode.
Rolls-Royce has officially introduced the Privacy Suite as an optional feature in extended-wheelbase Phantom to cater for customers who want to isolate themselves from the city bustle.
First seen in a Phantom delivered to a customer in Hong Kong in 2019, this unique feature is simply an electrochromatic glass that divides the front cabin and the rear cabin.
The Privacy Suite replaces the old style partition used in the Rolls-Royce Phantom that has a sliding glass window and a curtain. What it does is basically to turn from clear to opaque as the rear passenger wishes at the touch of a button.
It also features an active noise cancelation technologies that keeps the driver from hearing what’s going on in the back.

There is an intercom system to allow occupants to communicate with the driver, or reject the call coming in from up front.
Other features include a pair of 12-inch monitors mounted in the partition as part of the on-board infotainment system.
A rear theater mode feature is also available and it allows passengers to review presentations, review live news items or simply control their music library.
This bespoke Privacy Suite option is only available for customers ordering a long-wheelbase version of Rolls-Royce’s top-of-the-range model, Phantom VIII.
