Toyota Conducting A Safety Recall Involving Certain Lexus LS Vehicles

Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain 2018 Model Year Lexus LS 500/500h vehicles in the United States. Approximately 6,300 vehicles are involved in this recall.
The involved vehicles are equipped with run-flat tires that were assembled to the wheels improperly. There is a possibility that a crack could develop on the sidewall reinforcement layer of the tires. Under certain driving conditions, portions of the tire tread layer could separate, causing a reduction of vehicle stability and increasing the risk of a crash.
For all involved vehicles, all four tires will be replaced with new ones at no charge to customers if one or more tire(s) are run-flat tire(s) manufactured by a specific tire supplier. Owners of all the vehicles involved will be notified by late April.
