Toyota Teases The Next-Gen RAV4 Via Images

Toyota announced today, with several teaser images, that it will introduce the new, sixth generation of its highly successful RAV4 SUV model on May 21st.
The package also includes images that reveal parts of the interior. Standout features include a digital instrument cluster and a large infotainment screen located high on the new center console.
This is all done with higher-quality materials and an improved technology list compared to the current car. It is expected to retain features such as a head-up display (HUD), panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and wireless charging.
The new model is expected to retain the existing platform but will receive Toyota’s latest design language.
This means it will likely use the current model’s TNGA-K architecture with some improvements, with a focus on a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a longer EV range (potentially up to 130 km). Some sources have previously mentioned a possible electric version, but more details are yet to come.
