Vietnamese woodworker, Truong Van Dao, known for crafting out fully functional wooden replica of world’s most sought-after cars, has revealed plans to gift Tesla CEO Elon Musk his latest work – a drivable wooden Cybertruck.





Van Dao’s replica Cybertruck pickup truck took him 100 days to complete. The project is documented in a video titled “100 Days Building Tesla Cybertruck For Mr. Elon Musk,” on his YouTube channel, ND Woodworking Art.

In the video, which has now about 1.7 million views as of time of writing, Van Dao revealed his intention to gift the functional wooden Cybertruck to CEO Elon Musk.

“I am a passionate content creator with a deep love for wooden vehicles and a tremendous admiration for both you and Tesla,” he wrote in the video description.

If Elon Musk accepts the gift, the replica Cybertruck may find a permanent home at the Tesla Exhibit at The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, where some of its products, including a prototype Cybertruck, are exhibited.
