Tinubu Commissions WAGL’s LPG Vessel Christened “MT Iyaloja (Lagos)” In Honor Of The President’s Mother

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned a 40,000 cubic meters (CBM) Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) vessel, christened “MT Iyaloja (Lagos)”, in Ulsan, South Korea.
Named in honour of Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, (the late mother of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu), the symbolic ribbon cutting of “MT Iyaloja (Lagos)” was performed by her grand-daughter, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Alhaja Folasade Mujidat Tinubu-Ojo.
The vessel, owned by WAGL Energy Limited (an NNPC Ltd. /Sahara Group Joint Venture), is a dual-fuel, fully refrigerated LPG carrier. The latest addition to WAGL’s LPG vessel fleet joins MT Africa Gas, MT Sahara Gas, MT BaruMK, and MT Sapet.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has presented the Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria, Dr Yinka Ayefele, with a brand new 2025 GWM Tank 500 SUV, following a fire that damaged parts of the station on Friday.
Video shared by Ibadan-based Oyo Affairs shows the moment the State Government’s representatives presented the brand new GWM Tank 500 luxury SUV to Ayefele.
Makinde, who had earlier visited the scene of the fire accident to expressed his sympathy to the station’s chairman, pledged that the state government will improve its emergency systems for better response times.
“This incident has highlighted the need for better response times. If our fire service had been operating at the desired level, the damage might not have been so severe,” Makinde during the visit.
Police Arrest 5 For Selling Stolen Toyota Corolla For ₦500k, Nab Buyer Who Dismantled It For Parts

Detectives of Ilasan Division of the Lagos State Police Command arrested five suspects for snatching and selling a Toyota Corolla ‘Taxi’ for half a million naira (₦500,000) along with the buyer of the stolen vehicle.
In a statement on Thursday, the Command’s spokesman, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen at gunpoint and that the buyer had dismantled the car and sold the parts separately.
“He was later arrested in Ibadan. Efforts are ongoing to recover the pistol used in the robbery, trace other vehicles dispose off by the syndicate, and prosecute all the suspects accordingly.”
Lagos Car Wash Attendant Arrested For Stealing Customer’s Honda Pilot, Vehicle Recovered In Sagamu

The Lagos State Police Command also urged vehicle owners to be security conscious after a car wash attendant absconded with a customer’s Honda Pilot Crossover SUV that was handed over to them for cleaning.
The Command’s spokesman, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, who gave the warning, said detectives from the Alausa Police Division have apprehended the suspect in Sagamu area of Ogun State, adding that the stolen vehicle had been recovered.
“A car wash attendant in Alausa ran away with a customer’s vehicle. Detectives of Alausa Police Division arrested him with the vehicle in Sagamu. Be security conscious always!,” CSP Benjamin Hundeyin wrote.
