Warner Bros Is Selling 10 Batmobiles For $3 Million Each, As Part Of 85th Anniversary Of The Batman
Warner Bros is building ten (10) Batmobiles, each priced at $2.99 million, as part of 85th Anniversary of the Batman.
The drivable, but not street-legal replicas of the Tumbler are made of Kevlar, carbon fiber, sheet metal and fiberglass.
Replicas will use a General Motors (GM)-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, rated at 525 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque.
Fans of the Dark Knight Batman film series now have a chance to own the first officially sanctioned replica of the Batmobile (or Tumbler as it was called in the film), as part of the celebration marking the 85th anniversary of the Batman.
Officially sanctioned by Warner Bros., this highly collectable Tumbler Batmobile is limited to just 10 units and available for sale to an exclusive audience of avid car collectors at a starting price of $2.99 million.
While the original Batman Tumbler was made from parts taken from model cars, boats, and planes, these drivable limited-edition replicas are made of Kevlar, carbon fiber, sheet metal and fiberglass.

Finished in Vanta Black, the planned Tumblers weighs a 5,511 lbs and measures approximately 183 inches long, 111 inches wide, and 60 inches tall – so it is no surprise that the replicas are not street legal.
While a jet turbine powers the battle-ready Batmobile driven by Bruce Wayne in the movies, the replica will use a General Motors (GM)-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, rated at 525 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque.
“Limited production of 10 Wayne Enterprises Tumblers, fully functional iconic “Batmobile”, are exclusively being sold by invitation only. These highly collectable Tumbler Batmobiles are officially sanctioned by Warner Bros. and will be available for sale to an exclusive audience of avid car collectors”, said Wayne Enterprises.
California-based Hollywood custom car company Action Vehicle Engineering will create each of these fully functional Batmobiles to the customer’s taste – with each unit taking approximately 15 months to build.
