Tesla Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elon Musk has shown off a new video of the newly-released range-topping Tesla Cyberbeast outrunning a 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera T sports car in a drag race while towing a another 911.
Musk posted the video on his X page to demonstrate the Cyberbeast’s accelerative abilities. The Cyberbeast has an 845-hp tri-motor drivetrain that allows a 0-60 mph time of 2.6 seconds, a sub-11-second quarter-mile and a 130-mph top speed.
Unlike the Tesla Cyberbeast, the Porsche 911 Carrera T sports car has 379 horsepower, a 4.3 second (manual) 0-60 mph time and a top track speed of 181 mph.
The video follows the delivery event for the new Tesla Cybertruck on Thursday, where the US-based Electric Vehicle maker revealed specs and trim levels for its new pickup truck.
At $100k ($99,990), the Cyberbeast is the most powerful and most expensive version of the Cybertruck. It offers an estimated range of 320 miles, weighs 6843 pounds, has a tow capacity of 11,000 pounds, and a payload capacity of 2500 pounds.
In another video, the remarkable strength of the Cyberbeast was showed off as it competed against a Ford F-350 Diesel in a truck pull, where it came out on top after going 317.75 feet.
