Zamfara State Governor Takes First Delivery Of Govt’s Armored Personnel Carriers
Zamfara State Governor Senator Bello Matawalle takes first delivery of governments Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs).
He earlier purchased hundreds of patrol vehicles, surveillance drones as well as smartcity view cameras to assist in monitoring & tackling criminal activities.

In a move to help fight crime in the state, Zamfara State government has taken first of delivery of its Armored Personnel Carriers (APC).
The arrival of armored millitary vehicles was made known by Governor of Zamfara State, Senator Bello Matawalle, on his twitter handle.

“I received the 1st delivery of Zamfara State Govt’s Armored Personnel Carriers.”
“These vehicles would reinforce the technical & human capacity of our armed forces against bandits.”
“While commited to dialogue, we equally support maximum force against recalcitrant criminals.”


The Governor had earlier purchased hundreds of patrol vehicles, surveillance drones as well as smartcity view cameras in urban areas and rural flashpoints to assist in monitoring and tackling criminal activities.



Last month, Governor Bello Matawalle announced that he would reconcile with the terrorists to end terrorism in Zamfara state.
He also promised to pay the terrorists two cows as compensation for each returned AK-47 rifle.
