The new 2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² is based on the high-performance Mercedes-AMG G63.
It features wider fenders, roof-mounted spoiler with driving lights, and rides on 22-inch wheels with heavy-duty off-road tyres.
Squared has 13.8 inches of ground clearance and will climb grades of up to 45 degrees, too.
4×4 Squared will wade through 35.8 inches of water, 9.4 inches more than the G63.
Mercedes hasn’t revealed pricing details, but it says 4×4² described as “the last of its kind” will be a limited-run model.
German marque has unveiled the imposing all-new 2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² (or 4×4 Squared) through its members only G-specific website – ‘The G-Class Private Lounge’.
Based on the high-performance Mercedes-AMG G63, the new 4×4 Squared features wider fenders, a roof-mounted spoiler with driving lights, and rides on 22-inch wheels with heavy-duty off-road tyres.
Inside, it features a diamond-quilted Nappa leather seats, carbon trim and extended ambient lighting, a 12.3-inch digital display with a unique start-up screen and rear-view mirror.
Customers have 40 different paint colors to choose from, including the Green Hell Magno, which first debuted on the AMG GT R.
Mercedes says the new 4×4 Squared has 13.8 inches of ground clearance, an increase of 4.3 inches over standard G63 and will climb grades of up to 45 degrees, too. Squared will wade through 35.8 inches of water, 9.4 inches more than the G63.
Like the regular G63 it is based on, the 2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² is powered by AMG’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, but power has been boosted from 577 horsepower to 585 hp.
Mercedes hasn’t revealed pricing details of the truck-based SUV or production numbers, but it says that the G63 4×4 Squared described as “the last of its kind” will be a limited-run model.
