No loss of life or injuries as 40-feet container fell in four stationary vehicles, including a tricycle, in Lagos.

The incident happened at Barracks Bus-Stop, inward Trade Fair, on Lagos-Badagry Expressway .

The accident was caused due to reckless driving of the truck driver. The container reportedly lost balance and fell on the vehicles obstructing 80-percent of the road.

A truck conveying a 40-feet container, at the wee hours of today, Monday 15th March, 2021, fell on four stationary vehicles at Barracks Bus-Stop inward Trade Fair, on Lagos-Badagry Expressway .

According to reports, the accident was caused due to reckless driving of the truck driver. The container reportedly lost balance and fell on the vehicles obstructing 80-percent of the road. Fortunately, no loss of life or injuries was recorded at the scene of the incident.

40-Feet container falls on four vehicles at Trade Fair, Lagos.

The crushed vehicles with their registration numbers includes a black colour Toyota Yaris (LSR 247 GP); a grey colour Honda CRV (LND 80 BS); an ash SUZUKI Mini Bus (KSF 904 XY) and a green TVS Tricycle (AGL 831 QL).





The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Nigeria Police as well as the Nigerian Army, Ojo Cantonment 81 Division, were responders present at the incident scene.

Recovery operation was carried out by LASEMA’s Dolphin Squad at Igando with the aid of the agency’s heavy duty equipment, Goliath II, and the Light Tow-trucks.
